The Bay Horse Inn is a traditional family-run old English Inn that dates back to the 17th century, with log fires and beamed bar/dining areas.
Situated in the picturesque village of Green Hammerton we are close to major routes to the North, and East coast via A1/A59. Easy access to York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Leeds city centres by road and rail.
Only 3 miles from A1 Junction 47, the inn is located within a mile of 2 rail stations - Cattal and Hammerton - with direct service to York, Knaresborough, Harrogate and beyond. Guests will also be conveniently located for access to York, Wetherby and Ripon racecourses. Local taxi services are available and advance booking is advised. This lovely village pub offers a traditional fireside bar and restaurant as well as free Wi-Fi in the bar area and free on-site parking. Both the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors can be reached within a 30-40 minute drive.
Our ten guest rooms are set in a courtyard with private entrances and are all equipped with a TV and tea and coffee facilities. All of them have en- suite facilities with a bath or shower and complementary toiletries.
