Indoor tables can be booked by telephone on 01423 330338. Rule of 6 or 2 households apply to indoor seating.


Monday to Thursday 3pm to 10pm, Friday 2pm to 11pm and Saturday 12noon to 10pm and Sunday from 12noon to 8pm. Food served Monday to Saturday until 8pm and Sunday until 6pm.

    Fountains Abbey is one of the largest and best preserved ruined Cistercianmonasteries in England. It is located approximately 3 miles (5 kilometres) south-west of Ripon in North Yorkshire, near to the village of Aldfield. Founded in 1132, the abbey operated for over 400 years, until 1539, when Henry VIII ordered the Dissolution of the Monasteries.

    The abbey is a Grade I listed building owned by the National Trust and part of the designated
